Electrician - 2nd & 3rd Shift (Relocation & Sign-On Bonus!)

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our maintenance team at our fast‑paced pork processing plant. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant's electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems such as motors, control panels, lighting, wiring, and power distribution. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to keep production running smoothly. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and blueprints to minimize downtime. Maintain compliance with safety protocols (LOCKOUT/TAGOUT, OSHA, NEC) and GMPs. Respond to urgent electrical problems during production to prevent disruptions. Assist with the installation of new equipment and electrical upgrades. Keep accurate maintenance records and report on electrical needs. Collaborate with maintenance and plant teams to improve performance. Qualifications Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school. At least 2+ years related electrical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. PLC experience highly desired. Fluent reading and writing in English. Ability to operate a forklift, GEI lift, or scissor lift (preferred). Strong judgment, organizational skills, and ability to work independently with little supervision. Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Compensation & Benefits Competitive Starting Pay – $24.85–$33.10 per hour, with $0.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
