About the Position

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 180-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan. This full-time role involves providing primary care services, focusing on approximately 36 patient-facing clinic hours per week with additional administrative duties. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., aligning with standard clinic operating hours. The successful candidate will manage patient visits, aiming for a target of at least 2.0 completed visits per clinic hour, with appointment lengths generally not exceeding 30 minutes. Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide primary care services to patients, focusing on Internal Medicine and Family Medicine cases.
• Manage patient visits effectively, aiming for a minimum of 2.0 completed visits per clinic hour.
• Maintain appointment lengths generally not exceeding 30 minutes.
• Dedicate approximately 36 patient-facing clinic hours per week.
• Complete appropriate administrative and in-basket tasks.

• Board Certifications: Internal Medicine
• EMR: Epic, Dragon
• Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
• Patients per day: Target approximately 36 patient-facing clinic hours/week plus appropriate administrative/in-basket time.
• LOA: 180 Days
• Staffing Mix: Typically work with one MA or LPN, with additional support from referral, prior authorization, and RN navigator teams.
