Behavioral Health Therapist

Responsibilities Assess, diagnose and treat individuals using individual, family, couples and/or group counseling. Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans in alignment with patient needs. Provide assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, discharge planning, and consultation. Conduct therapy sessions and provide education and support to patients and families. Facilitate or co-facilitate groups focused on skill building, mental health, or recovery-oriented topics. Complete documentation in the Electronic Health Record professionally and in a timely manner. Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions as needed to support coordinated care. Requirements Bachelors Degree plus a Master Degree in counseling required. Required Credentials, Certification, Licensure LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or In-Training licenses (LPC-IT, LMFT-IT, and APSW) required in Wisconsin. Specific training/certifications may be required for certain types of therapy/assessment. Knowledge of Electronic Health Record Systems Database software and Word Processing software. Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals through various counseling methods, while developing and implementing tailored therapeutic treatment plans.
