Job Responsibilities
- Personalized Care Approach: Assess patient requirements and design tailored therapy programs that empower them to meet their functional aspirations
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Partner closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and integrated care
- Educate Clients and Families: Provide insights to patients and caregivers regarding therapy strategies that facilitate ongoing improvement at home
- Track and Record Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment approaches as necessary to keep patients on track
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
- Ongoing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
- A sincere passion for helping others reach their fullest potential of independence
- Clear and compassionate communication abilities with both patients and team members
