Embark on a rewarding assignment supporting elementary students as a contracted Occupational Therapist in the San Juan Capistrano area. This full-time opportunity begins in September and continues through December, filling a vital leave of absence for a valued school-based therapist. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome, making this a flexible and meaningful role for those passionate about pediatric care in academic settings.

In this role, you’ll work with children at the elementary level, providing critical therapy services and collaborating with educational teams on-site. With important district decisions and upcoming board changes, your expertise will make an immediate and lasting impact in a dynamic environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active California OT license (required)
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability to manage caseload changes
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Willingness to be on-site and contribute actively in a school setting
• NO COTAs, OT only

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans
• Consult and collaborate with special education and classroom staff
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by school policies
• Support students in developing fine/gross motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living tasks
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
