This isn’t a “leadership development program.” Nobody will hand you an onboarding deck about synergy. You won’t need a lanyard.

Here’s the deal: every day, millions of pounds of stuff need to get from Point A to Point B. Trucks need loads. Shippers need trucks. Freight brokers sit in the middle, make it happen, and get paid for it. At Tuinstra Logistics, that’s you.

What you’ll actually do

• Pick up the phone. A lot. Cold calls, cold emails, follow-ups, more calls, more emails.
• Find shippers who need freight moved and win their business
• Match loads with carriers and negotiate rates on both sides
• Solve problems in real time when a truck breaks down in Nebraska at 4:45pm on a Friday
• Build a book of business that’s yours. No non-solicit either, because you won’t want to leave

Who we’re looking for

Your GPA matters less than your drive. We want people who:

• Get a little restless sitting still
• Hear “no” and think “not yet”
• Like competing, whether it was sports, debate, sales, or running a side hustle out of your dorm
• Would rather bet on themselves than wait for a 3% annual raise
• Can talk to anyone, from a dispatcher in Texas to a plant manager in Ohio

No logistics experience needed. We’ll teach you the industry. We can’t teach hunger.

Let’s be honest about the money

This job won’t be for everyone, and we’d rather tell you now.

This is a 1099 position, because freight is 24hrs. We’d also rather maximize your income and let you decide what to do with it. 

You’ll start with base salary (that won't make you rich) plus commission, with no cap. Once you succeed, you transition to commission only and that is where the earning potential skyrockets. Expect between 50-80k in year one. You should be making six figures in your second year. 

Top performers here earn more money than they ever imagined. Some people will crush it and make more money in the first year than their friends with “safe” jobs. Some people won’t. The difference isn’t luck or connections. It’s how hard you go and how badly you want it.
