Position: Punch Press Operator

We are seeking a skilled Punch Press Operator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Punch Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating punch press machines to produce precision metal parts according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate punch press machines to produce metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and other specifications to determine production requirements
• Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job
• Adjust machine settings to ensure proper alignment, speed, and depth of cut
• Monitor machine operation to detect any malfunctions or defects
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience operating punch press machines
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
• Experience with setting up and adjusting tooling and dies
• Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality work
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
