Responsibilities Norton Behavioral Medicine is seeking a Psychiatry Medical Doctor in Louisville, KY. Join our integrated team to evaluate and adjust medications, provide substance abuse services, and collaborate with primary care providers. We offer rapid access, telehealth flexibility, and a supportive environment for patients across Kentucky and Indiana. About Opportunity As a psychiatric medical doctor with Norton Behavioral Medicine, you will play a critical role in our fully integrated, patient-centered care team. You will partner closely with therapists, psychologists, addiction medicine specialists, and licensed clinical social workers to diagnose and treat common mental health concerns. Key Responsibilities Clinical Evaluation: Conduct psychiatric assessments, evaluate patients, and carefully adjust prescriptions and dosages as necessary. Substance Abuse Services: Provide specialized services and explore alternative treatments for substance use disorders. Collaborative Care: Work in tandem with Norton Healthcare primary care providers and specialists to create a holistic care plan. Connect patients to long-term community providers when needed. Patient Support: Provide patient education and ensure rapid access to a strong multidisciplinary care team. Willingness and/or ability to obtain/hold active medical licenses in both Kentucky and Indiana.
