SENIOR CERTIFIED PERFUSIONIST - Temporary Hire

Overview City/State: Bronx, New York Grant Funded: No Department: Card PERF - Administration Bargaining Unit: 1199 Work Shift: Day Work Days: PER DIEM Scheduled Hours: 6:30 AM-3 PM Scheduled Daily Hours: 7.5 HOURS Hourly Rate: $80.02 (subject to shift differential, experience, education) Summary Under general supervision, assess, plan and implement the patient care requirements and treatment necessary for cardiopulmonary bypass/assistance before, during and after surgery. Sets up and operates the heart/lung machine. Consults with physicians and selects appropriate equipment. Performs related duties as required. Schedule This is a Temporary / Full Time role, 6:30 AM-3 PM. Requirements Graduation from an accredited NYS college with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree with a major in perfusion technology or graduation from a NYS accredited certificate program in perfusion technology required.
