Manual Welder (SMAW, GTAW) - BWX Technologies, Inc. We are currently hiring a qualified manual SMAW (stick) and GTAW (TIG) welder for our facility in Barberton, Ohio. The welder selected for this position will set up and perform extremely critical welds using stick, TIG, electric arc and heliarc welding processes to produce pressure and strength welds in all positions. Maintaining strict compliance to technical documentation and instructions is required. Control of welding parameters, interpass cleaning and preheating is required. Minimum Qualifications Desired candidates will have a high school diploma or GED equivalency coupled with a minimum of two (2) years' demonstrated experience performing similar welding tasks. Lesser experience coupled with formal training and/or certification may be considered. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, retirement and/or other benefits.
