Pre-Litigation Case Manager (Plaintiff PI)

Overview We are hiring a Senior Legal Secretary to manage a pre-litigation personal injury caseload from intake through demand in our Tampa office. This is a file-owning role, not a support position. You will be responsible for keeping cases moving, ensuring records are obtained, clients are consistently updated, and files are prepared for demand. If you are not currently managing files through the demand stage, this is not the right role. About the Firm The Matassini Law Firm, P.A. is a Tampa-based firm established 50 years ago. Key Responsibilities Manage 30–50 pre-litigation PI files from intake through demand Proactively order and track medical records and bills Maintain consistent, professional client communication Organize and prepare files for demand, including medical summaries Identify missing information and drive the file forward independently Keep all files current and organized in Clio Meet internal timelines and maintain momentum across your caseload Requirements (Non-Negotiable) 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience Experience independently managing a full pre-lit caseload Experience preparing files for demand phase (not just assisting) Strong understanding of medical records, billing, and case progression Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple active files Proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable Proficiency in Clio, Outlook, and Microsoft Word Spanish is a plus, not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Quarterly bonus opportunities tied to case progress and performance SIMPLE IRA with match Generous PTO Health stipend To Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to: View email address on click.appcast.io In your cover letter, include: The number of PI files you currently manage Your role in preparing files for demand #J-18808-Ljbffr Matassini Law Firm, P.A.
