Maintenance District Manager

OverviewThe Maintenance District Manager will be responsible for the management, planning and oversight of maintenance requirements for stores within their district. They will initiate and coordinate reactionary maintenance, preventative maintenance and special project operations as needed.This position supports the Southeastern United States region and home-based from the closest Buc-ee’s Travel Center. Candidates should be located within a reasonable distance of a major airport to accommodate frequent travel.The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:Identify current and future maintenance requirements and costs by coordination with management, production personnel, tradesmen and techniciansComplete maintenance operational requirements by scheduling; develop scope of work; request quotes through bid process; selecting contractors; follow up on work resultsResolve maintenance issues by conferring with management, engineering, and quality control personnelManage repair and maintenance operation by determining work priorities, scheduling, repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipmentEnsure repairs are performed cost effectively by examining records, reports, operating practices and other documentationManage maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operation policies and proceduresEnsure work is performed within company standards by inspecting work performed to ensure its quality and cost-effectivenessManage relationships with Contractors to ensure complete repair and maintenance coverage across all tradesReview invoices for accuracy and adherence to contractual terms, manages any invoice disputes and approves invoicesProvide various Safety Training functionsAll personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as neededMaintain confidentialityPlan, organize, and prioritize daily assignmentsAchieve financial objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actionsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededWork as part of a team consisting of multiple departmentsInterpret and implement local, State, and Federal laws and regulations as theypertain to facility operations, equipment and personnelIt is an essential function of this job for the employee to work in office/in the employee’s assigned work site.
