I will review them and mark them shortlisted if they are a fit for the job, if they are not they will be marked rejected.Once this is won, the candidates will go through a normal screening process.Connect Week: Candidate will be required and commit to sit on site 2 weeks (5 days)/each Month on a rotation at Locations below:Durham, NCWestlake, TXInterview Process:TBD once bid is wonSummary:The client, Fidelity, is initiating a migration project to enhance and update their current reporting infrastructure, aiming to move away from the existing ecosystem of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and Oracle Exadata towards a new setup involving Snowflake and Power BI hosted on AWS and Azure platforms, respectively. The migration is driven by the need to address various challenges including data quality issues, lack of self-service capabilities, and alignment with Enterprise Information (EI) and Workplace Investing (WI) cloud strategies. The transition aims to provide a better reporting experience, faster time to market, and support the decommissioning of legacy hardware and data warehouses.Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and data analysis needs. Assist in the design of the database by providing insights into data usage and reporting patterns. Validate data quality and integrity in the new AWS RDS database. Support the development of data governance and data quality frameworks.Qualifications: Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis methodologies. Knowledge of database design principles and experience with SQL queries. Familiarity with AWS, Azure and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI). Understanding of financial data and reporting standards.
