Principal Enterprise Architect

To build a foundational enterprise architecture practice, the full-time Principal Enterprise Architect will govern a technology portfolio, establish architecture principles, and leverage AI for portfolio analysis while working remotely. Key responsibilities Build and define the enterprise architecture practice, including operating models and standards catalog Manage the application portfolio, driving consolidation of redundant tools and classifying applications by lifecycle status Implement SaaS governance and cost control, partnering with Procurement and Finance to maximize savings Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture with ownership of application portfolios Proven track record in application rationalization and SaaS cost reduction Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, including TOGAF and lifecycle governance Experience with build-vs-buy evaluations and total-cost-of-ownership analysis Working knowledge of AI governance concepts and experience using AI tools for portfolio analysis
