Certified Medical AssistantNovant Health Palliative Care team is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, that includes an externship in a medical office clinical setting, required. Curriculum must include pharmacology and medication administration. (Certificate must be obtained within six months of hire).Certifications accepted: CMA – American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)CCMA – National Health career Association (NHA)RMA – American Medical Technologists (AMT)RMA – American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)RMA - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)RMA - National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)Experience: Previous work in a medical setting preferred.Licensure/certification/registration: CMA, CCMA, RMA. Refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096.
