Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a focus on cardiac care to provide exceptional patient care in a private room setting. This unit prioritizes admission for patients requiring medical cardiac care and those recovering from cardiac interventions, including surgery and stent placements.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient health status.
• Manage cardiac telemetry and respond to patient needs.
• Conduct initial assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Provide post-surgical care and monitor recovery progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with travel experience.
• Current RN license (State or Compact license must be in hand).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 1:5.
• Familiarity with Epic charting system.
