Meat Cutter

Meat Cutter You will be responsible for providing a variety of fresh and unique meat items to our customers. A Meat Cutter assists with answering questions and special orders, while maintaining a positive, and friendly, customer focused work environment. As a Meat Cutter, you are responsible for practicing safe food handling procedures and a high level of product knowledge and preparation techniques. If you have a friendly and outgoing personality, have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then this is the position for you. Key Responsibilities Works safely at all times and follows all established safety guidelines and procedures Receives, unloads, and stores product delivery. Breaks down, trims and package beef, pork, lamb, and poultry products Prepares specialty merchandise like sausage, ready-to-cook products, and cured meats Explains cooking techniques for all meats and cuts to the customer Responds promptly to customer needs and questions and requests assistance when necessary Performs other duties as required or requested by management Physical Requirements Able to work prolonged periods of time in an environment with fluctuating temperature ranges Able to stand prolonged periods of time Able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance Available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends & holidays Super King Markets is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran, or disability status, or any other status protected by law.
