Human Resources Director

$140,000 – $180,000 Base Salary

Full-Time | Monday–Friday

A fast-growing healthcare and pharmaceutical organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and scale the HR function across a highly regulated operational environment. This company specializes in compounding pharmacy and healthcare services, supporting clinical, operational, and quality-driven teams in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate is a strategic HR leader who can operate both at the executive level and in day-to-day HR operations. This role will partner closely with leadership to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and execute HR strategy aligned with company growth and operational goals
• Oversee talent acquisition for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, sterile compounding teams, and corporate staff
• Drive employee relations, performance management, and leadership development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and regulatory standards
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning and organizational design
• Manage compensation structures, benefits administration, HR operations, and vendor relationships
• Lead and mentor the HR team across recruiting, benefits, and HR management functions
• Champion culture, engagement, retention, and internal communication strategies

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
• Background in healthcare, pharmacy, biotech, or another highly regulated industry
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
• Experience supporting licensed professionals and operational teams
• Proven ability to build HR infrastructure in a growing organization
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Master’s degree
• Experience within sterile compounding or pharmacy environments
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certifications
• Familiarity with FDA guidance, USP standards, and pharmacy board regulations
