# Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room RN – Texas**Start Date:** July 6, 2026 **Location:** Denton, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day shift with on-call requirements; 2 nights per week call and 1 weekend per month; 1:1 patient ratios

Highlights:

• Specialize in cardiovascular operating room procedures including CABG surgeries
• Work in a dedicated 13-bed CVOR unit with an experienced team of 62 clinical staff members
• Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient care coordination
• Collaborate with a supportive day shift team including dedicated charge nurse and board runner
• No floating requirements – remain dedicated to the cardiovascular operating room
• Comprehensive on-call structure supporting critical cardiac procedures

Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience required
• Strong circulating skills for cardiac procedures – mandatory requirement
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with CABG procedures and cardiac surgical cases
