Journeyman Plumber

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing and a strong understanding of construction plumbing practices. This role requires a commitment to quality work, safety, and customer satisfaction. As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings, including residential and commercial properties. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. Conduct field service work as needed to address customer plumbing issues. Perform HVAC-related tasks as required by specific projects. Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations. Collaborate with construction teams on‑site to coordinate plumbing installations. Execute heavy lifting when necessary for the installation of large fixtures or equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs. Experience Proven experience as a Journeyperson Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing. Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding mechanical systems. Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations on the job site. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Experience working in diverse environments, including residential homes and commercial construction sites.
