Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Emergency Department for adult patients, ensuring efficient and quality clinical services during assigned shifts. Collaborate with medical staff to deliver patient-centered care and maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately upon arrival.
• Administer emergency treatments and medications according to physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in condition.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly in the Electronic Health Record (Meditech).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Adhere to department policies, procedures, and safety standards consistently.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Possess a minimum of 1.5 years of recent ER experience; 2+ years preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent prioritization and time management skills.
• Have Meditech EHR experience strongly preferred.
• Be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
