Production Manager – Manufacturing OperationsNesco Resource is hiring a Production Manager for a manufacturing facility in Horseheads, NY. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production operations, driving performance, and developing a strong team culture.Responsibilities:Lead daily manufacturing operations (safety, quality, production, delivery)Manage production schedules, staffing, and workforce planningSupervise and develop production supervisors and staffTrack KPIs and production performance; take corrective action as neededSupport hiring, training, coaching, and employee developmentDrive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and 5S initiativesPartner with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other teamsReduce scrap, downtime, and inefficiencies through data-driven improvementsEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and company standardsQualifications:Manufacturing leadership experience requiredStrong knowledge of production operations and schedulingExperience managing teams and improving performanceStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsLean/continuous improvement experience preferredERP or production software experience a plusBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experiencePreferred:Automotive, metalworking, machining, or similar manufacturing backgroundISO environment experienceLean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen experiencePhysical Requirements:Ability to work in a manufacturing environmentLift up to 50 lbs as neededWear required PPEIf you're a strong manufacturing leader ready to drive results and improve operations, apply today!
