Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a certified Operating Room (OR) Technician to support surgical procedures. The role involves working a variety of shifts, including 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p, 7a-3p, and 3p-11p, with no call required. The technician will assist in the surgical environment, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room with necessary supplies and equipment prior to procedures.
Assist surgical teams by passing instruments, im?plants, and sterile supplies during surgeries.
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including certification and compliance standards.
Support robotics procedures, including DaVinci robotic system assistance.
Complete required modules and certifications during orientation and annually.
Document procedures and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

Possess a minimum of 2 years' clinical OR technician experience.
Hold an active BLS certification and a recognized national OR technician certification.
Demonstrate proficiency in DaVinci robotic system operation.
Be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends, with no remote time off (RTO) allowed during or after winter holidays.
Have reliable transportation within 50 miles of the facility.
Complete lab work within 72 hours of contract signing.
