They will be responsible for area housekeeping. **DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:*** Perform duties in accordance with company safety policies and report unsafe conditions* Receives and stores material* Unloading delivery trucks/sign for all deliveries* Unpacks delivery shipments* Compares packing lists to purchase orders, ensuring accurate deliveries* Process goods receipt in SAP; scan packing list into IMS for AP* Physically place inventory stock into correct storage location* Process all out going Fed-ex shipments* Help purchasing return items as needed against POs* Process shipments for outgoing repairs* Work with buyer to resolve shipment issues and PO discrepancies* Responsible for follow-up with suppliers to assure deliveries, tags material as required* Properly tags material received for stock and inventory management* Properly prepare material and bill of lading for Outbound Shipments* Support other team positions and functions as necessary* Responsible for the housekeeping of work areas* Perform other duties as assigned* Participate in training and cross-training of new/current team members* Perform PM activities as assigned* Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role **SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:*** Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Trade Certification preferred* 5+ years of manufacturing experience preferred* Must be able to follow written/verbal instructions; basic computer skills; able to read measuring devices/equipment* Visual acuity to read and record numerical data* Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism, and a great work ethic* Knowledge of industrial equipment and components is preferred* Proven proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office); SAP experience is a plus* Must have good mechanical aptitude and basic math skills* Good communication and interpersonal skills* Previous experience with precision instruments (micrometers, calipers etc.) preferred **REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATION:*** Forklift and Crane **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:*** Manufacturing/ Industrial work environment* The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles* The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions* The noise level in the work environment is usually loudZekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental benefits.
