Cook

Mandu is looking for a motivated and reliable Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team. This position will support both daily prep and line cook responsibilities , working closely with the culinary team to maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and execution.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well in a fast-paced kitchen, and is eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

• Assist with daily food preparation, including vegetables, proteins, sauces, stocks, and other components
• Execute recipes and preparation according to Mandu's standards and specifications
• Work assigned stations on the line during service
• Maintain consistent quality, portioning, presentation, and timing
• Set up and break down stations efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
• Assist with receiving, storage, labeling, and rotation of products
• Communicate effectively with chefs and other members of the kitchen team
• Support the kitchen wherever needed to ensure smooth daily operations

• Previous professional kitchen experience preferred
• Strong knife skills and basic knowledge of cooking techniques
• Ability to follow recipes and direction accurately
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary
