Senior Accountant

Overview New role: Senior Accountant (Hybrid 3 days in office in Metro Atlanta) . We're partnering with a dynamic, privately held construction company that's actively seeking a Senior Accountant . Responsibilities Perform month-end closing activities in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Assist with credit card and accounts payable management. Support the annual audit process and respond to audit requests. Provide ad hoc information support and analysis as needed. Support system implementation efforts across the company brands. Assist with developing and/or updating accounting process SOPs. Provide leadership and guidance to members of the accounting team at operating locations. Proactively identify solutions to accounting issues as they arise and drive process improvement across the accounting organization. Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in accounting is required. WIP experience highly preferred 2-3+ years of experience in public accounting or in industry in an accounting role.
