We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist . In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and troubleshooting advanced CNC equipment, including lathes, multiple spindle machines, and Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs). The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and tight tolerances, dedicated to maintaining our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate various CNC machines to produce high-quality carbon components.

• Perform complex setups on CNC lathes, multiple spindle machines, and Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs).

• Read and accurately interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

• Select the appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials, making necessary machine adjustments to optimize performance.

• Perform first-piece inspections and continuous quality checks to ensure all parts meet strict tolerance specifications.

• Troubleshoot machining issues, resolve errors, and adjust CNC programs as needed to minimize downtime.

• Strictly adhere to all quality control, safety, and production standards within the manufacturing environment.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Experience: Proven, hands-on experience working directly as a CNC Programmer and Setup Machinist.

• Machine Proficiency: Extensive experience operating and setting up CNC lathes, multiple spindle machines, and VMCs.

• Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Machining Knowledge: Deep understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, feeds/speeds, and tight tolerances.

• Work Style: Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced production team.
