Make history with us.BASE RATE PER HOUR - 24.75SHIFT: 1st - M- F 730am - 430pm possible OT# OF OPENINGS:1HOURS:(Starting times and hours may vary depending on coverage due to report-offs and the production schedule especially during holidays.)JOB SUMMARY/ JOB DUTIES:Directs and coordinates activities of distribution facilities. Establishes operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory. Coordinates activities of distribution facilities with activities of sales, record control, and purchasing departments to ensure availability of merchandise. Communicates daily with cross-functional teams (i.e. outside carriers, plants, sales, finance, etc). This position operates within a Tier 1 or Tier 3 Depot, a Tier 2 Depot featuring multiple Coordinators, or a hub equipped with an additional leader for the majority of the shift.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESReviews bills of lading for incoming merchandise and customer orders in order to plan work activitiesAssigns workers to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of and storing incoming merchandise and assembling customer orders for delivery.Loads and unload trucks of various product as neededPick and sort various product as neededMaintains facility which includes cleaning and following safety and food safety processes.Responsible for reporting safety, food safety, and site security incidents and improvement recommendations to Leader. May execute changes for safety, food safety, and site security items.Communicates in a professional mannerReports to Leader any employee issues violating company policies and/or processesMust interact with Customer Service/Planning, Sales and Transportation to coordinate any cuts, adjustments, credits and other issues on a daily basis.Prints out orders for Bin Routes on a daily basisCrosscheck/verify accuracy of orders built for Customer pick-up (CPU) or shipment to BIN locationsDirects reclamation of damaged merchandiseAssist in the tracking and reporting productivity for othersPrepares and maintains spreadsheets and data bases as necessaryMay fill in for site Leader, Coordinator or Sr. Coordinator as neededMaintains accurate & timely records for timekeeping, expenses, inventory, food safety and safety.May perform other duties as requiredEDUCATION/EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or GED equivalent; and 1 year of related experience in a warehouse or DepotPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
