Registered Nurse II Wage (No benefits) Location: Southeast Virginia Training Center, Steppingstones neighborhood. Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services (DBHDS). About the Role This part‑time Registered Nurse provides nursing care for individuals living at SEVTC and assists the team in supporting additional individual needs. Responsibilities include: integrating health care needs into habilitation plans, collaborating with Personal Support Teams and physicians, and providing ongoing training to direct support staff. The nurse communicates with families and authorized representatives and is considered essential personnel in emergencies. Employment complies with federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services guidance on Omnibus COVID‑19 Health Care staff Vaccination Regulation. Schedule 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, rotating weekends. Must work on different shifts or overtime as requested. Compensation and Hours Hourly wage: $45.32. Employees may not work more than 29 hours per week and are limited to 1,500 hours per year. Skills and Experience Required Valid Virginia Nursing license or a license in a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact. RN degree or licensure required. Current certification in CPR and first aid. Valid active driver’s license. Additional Qualifications (Bonus Points) Experience working with persons with severe developmental disabilities.
