Senior Java Developer

Senior Java DeveloperWe are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a growing technology organization as a full-time hybrid team member based in Franklin, TN. This role requires a customer-focused, organized, and collaborative technical leader with strong Java and SQL expertise.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, values system reliability and performance, and enjoys working cross-functionally to deliver high-quality software solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic initiatives for software operations aligned with long-term business goalsLead, mentor, and support a team of software professionals to drive performance and professional growthCollaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to support organizational objectivesMaintain stability and reliability of software systems, proactively identifying and resolving potential issuesOversee deployment of software updates, patches, and new features to ensure seamless user experiencesManage incident response and problem resolution in a timely and effective mannerEnsure adherence to security and compliance standardsDocument system configurations, processes, and best practicesFoster knowledge sharing and collaboration across teamsMonitor and manage support tickets to ensure prompt issue resolutionGroom Jira stories alongside developers and QA teamsPerform peer reviews (PRs) of Java and SQL codeAssist with quality assurance effortsDrive continuous improvement across software operationsRequired QualificationsStrong Java programming experienceStrong Microsoft SQL Server (or similar relational database) experienceProven experience in software operations and managementExperience with deployment and change management processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsExperience leading, mentoring, and developing team membersProficiency in incident management and operational best practicesCustomer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering quality solutionsPreferred QualificationsExperience in a senior or leadership role within software operationsDemonstrated history of implementing innovative solutionsAbility to travel up to 10%What's OfferedCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits packageCulture focused on continuous improvementOpportunity for career growth and advancement
