We are seeking to hire a seasoned Travel Medical Assistant to support our clinics in North and South Carolina. Responsibilities for Medical Assistant Travel, by air or car to various clinic locations daily Lead and direct work of clinic medical assistants Interpret and document the patient visit and the clinical charting of each patient in its entirety Provide EHR Charting Support directly for Physicians as a Medical Assistant in real time Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' health history Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies Manage clinic flow Other duties as assigned Requirements 100% travel required High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited medical assistance certification program preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner Must be detail-oriented and highly organized Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures Strong computer, typing, and listening skills Specialty experience in EHR documentation with outpatient clinics Strong leadership skills Must be able to maintain confidentiality
