IT Service Desk Analyst

We're partnering with an organization in the Appleton area that is looking to add a Service Desk Analyst to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their IT support career in a collaborative environment with strong long-term potential. A CompTIA A+ or Google IT Support Professional Certification is required for consideration.

This role supports end users across a variety of technologies and business applications. You'll handle incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide exceptional customer service to employees at all levels of the organization.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Preference for candidates who can work onsite in Appleton 2-3 days per week

• Strong remote candidates may be considered depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, application, and phone-related issues

• Respond to incoming calls, emails, and support tickets from internal users

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows environments, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and other business applications

• Install, configure, and load software on PCs and devices

• Support user account and system access requests

• Track and document issues, resolutions, and hardware assets

• Update and maintain hardware inventory databases

• Escalate issues when necessary and partner with other support teams for resolution

• Participate in training, shadowing, and ongoing development to build knowledge of internal systems and applications

What We're Looking For

• CompTIA A+ or Google IT Support Professional Certification (required)

• Previous help desk, service desk, technical support, or customer support experience (2+ years of experience)

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities

• Comfortable supporting users at all levels of an organization

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask

• High attention to detail and accurate documentation habits

• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative

• Experience with Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and ticketing systems is preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Appleton, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
