Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Location: Conyers, GA | Atlanta Metro Area

Overview

Strictly Mechanical is hiring Service Technicians to join our growing team in the Atlanta Metro area. If you're a skilled tech who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems, working independently, and delivering top-tier service - this is a great opportunity with a stable, well-supported company.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

As a Service Technician, you will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair issues on commercial HVAC equipment (RTUs, split systems, refrigeration, etc.)
• Perform preventative maintenance and system calibrations to manufacturer specifications
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and solutions clearly with customers and internal teams
• Travel to job sites across the Atlanta Metro area and manage service calls with dispatch
• Document work performed, parts used, and service details via mobile device
• Maintain service vehicle, inventory, tools, and safety equipment
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development
• Be available for on-call rotation (nights/weekends for emergency service)

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• HVAC vocational/technical training or completed apprenticeship
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read schematics and technical documents

Preferred:

• NATE Certification
