About the Position

Job Title: Echo Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience required License: State or Compact license must be in hand at time of application Certifications: BLS, RCS, RDMS-Peds Must-Have: Pediatric experience required Description: Echo Tech for adult and pediatric patients. Day shift with call responsibilities. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Candidates should possess strong skills in 3-D Echo, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, and Bubble Study. Experience with Emergency Department, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Routine procedures, and Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) is required. Knowledge of Treadmill Stress Echo, NICU, General, Cardiac TTE, and Cardiac TEE is preferred. Candidate must demonstrate sound judgment and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. The ability to work in a busy and stressful environment is necessary. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential. Candidates should have strong computer skills and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Creativity, problem analysis, and decision-making capabilities are important. Expected daily census ranges from 8 to 10 patients. Role involves collecting pertinent data and documenting procedures. Assist physicians with procedures and coordinate daily operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
