Food Service Director

Healthcare Nursing Center - Food Service Director We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Director to lead our culinary team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our residents and patients. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining high-quality standards of food preparation and presentation. Responsibilities Manage and supervise food service staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance Develop and implement menus, nutritional plans, and food service policies and procedures Oversee food preparation, production, and presentation, ensuring quality and consistency Coordinate with dietary consultants and other department heads to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and optimize foodservice operations Develop and manage budgets for food, supplies, and labor Meet with residents, patients, and families to gather feedback and concerns, and implement improvements accordingly Maintain a safe and sanitary food service environment, adhering to OSHA and local health codes Requirements Experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, patients, families, and staff Knowledge of dietary regulations and standards, including HIPAA and Joint Commission requirements Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
