Senior Staff Accountant @ Sports Media Firm (New York)

Our client is one of the fastest growing Sports Media Firms with a phenomenal environment, role reports to CAO and Controller. Role works with Dept heads, Brands, Marketing, Operators, and Head of the Business.

This individual will be a business partner to their product team; Building relationships with Sales and Product Launch Team on their Revenue Strategies.

Responsible Include:

• Preparation of Month-End Close process
• Prepare cashflow reporting, income analysis, cash forecasting and analysis for company transactions
• Assisting with building out monthly reporting
• Analyze company performance to colleagues across the business along with external auditors
• Partner with Sales Finance and Services team to lead quarterly and monthly financial reviews
• Actively support financial transformation team and initiatives
• Work with cross-functional teams including the Sales, Marketing, Operations, Treasury, Tax, and Finance to drive efficiencies

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree is Needed. Degrees in Economic or Accounting is a plus
• 4+ years of Accounting Experience Revenue Recognition a plus
• Experienced with high volume Accounting Transaction and Month-End
• NetSuite a plus
