Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile HR Generalist / HR Project Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity in Cayce, SC. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys variety, adapts well to change, and thrives in a project-driven environment. Working closely with leadership, managers, and employees, you'll contribute across multiple HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, compensation, and special projects. This position is perfect for someone who is highly organized, exercises sound judgment, and can manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-level HR generalist support across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee records, and special projects.
- Support full-cycle recruitment activities, including job posting development, applicant screening, candidate referrals, hiring documentation, and manager communication.
- Assist with I-9 and E-Verify compliance projects by reviewing documentation, identifying discrepancies, communicating with employees, and supporting audit-related work.
- Review, revise, and update position descriptions by gathering information from supervisors, interpreting job duties, and ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Support classification and compensation projects by organizing position information, reviewing job duties, researching HR guidelines, and assisting HR leadership.
- Manage multiple time-sensitive HR projects while tracking progress, following up with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and adapting to changing priorities.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $29.07 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Location: Cayce, SC.
- Potential opportunity to transition to a permanent role.
