Supply Chain is a customer-focused Center of Excellence providing industry-leadingservicewhile delivering differential value to the business, today and into the future. We separate our Supply Chain functions into several areas; these includelogistics, customer fulfillment, services, trade compliance, and support for business processes and systems.

As a member of our dynamic Supply Chain team, you will play a critical role in helping us supply our products to a global customer base. In this role, you willbe responsible forproviding top tier customer service as part of our domestic and/or export order fulfillment process. During a typical day, you may receive orders,checkproduct availability, coordinate product transportation and delivery, and ensureaccurateinvoicing.

This position reports to the Account Specialist Supervisor and islocatedat our North American Headquarters inGalleria-area in Houston.Theposition offers a competitive base salary, bonus, 401K matching, generous benefits package, pension plan, parkingsubsidyand employee discounts.

A Day in the Life

• Manage the domestic and/or export order fulfillment process for complex accounts.
• Act as the main point of contact for all customer order-related issues.
• Establish relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, clearly understand customer habits, requirements, and order patterns.
• Effectively deliver and facilitate communication across sales, marketing, operations, and transportation to provide answers to price inquiries, product availability, and transportation requirements. Proactively provide solutions to time-sensitive needs.
• Communicate shipping schedules and details to plant/storage location personnel and business management as needed.
• Assure accuracy of all order fulfillment master data in SAP and extended systems.
• Demonstrate independent knowledge of the Enterprise system (SAP), extended system tools, and assist customers/stakeholders and team members with full utilization of e-commerce tools.
• Operate with a solution-oriented mindset with regard to process improvements; Assist with change implementation for extended system improvements or other customer fulfillment projects.
• Partner with peers to provide solutions, guidance to resolve customer or business related problems.
• Model LyondellBasell core competencies with internal and external customers.
• Crosscover team members' responsibilities during vacations or other absences to maintain service levels and workflow continuity.
• Responsibilities will require periodic on-call support of customers or supported business segment outside of regular business hours

You Bring This Value

• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' relevant, industry-related experience.
• A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. Will consider candidates with a High School Diploma that have at least 8 years relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Strong problem solving abilities.
• Knowledge of transportation tracking systems, e-commerce systems, inventory management tools, and an understanding of the manufacturing/production process.
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Able to maintain professionalism and prioritize responsibilities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Composed in time-sensitive situations, comfortable delivering difficult news.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with extended tools.
• Comfortable manipulating and analyzing data.
• Experience with ERP software such as SAP is strongly desired.
