Salary Range: $46,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Kentwood that are seeking Bookkeepers. Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collection activities.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation methods specific to manufacturing.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial transactions and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations, expense reporting, and assist with month-end close processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records and data.
