As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.94 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, verifying visitor and contractor authorization, and documenting entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
