Human Resources Coordinator

Human Resources Coordinator Arbour Hospital is an important community resource for a wide range of vital behavioral healthcare services. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Department, including applicant and new hire administration, recruiting for vacant positions, conducting general employee orientations, maintaining all personnel records and files, responding to correspondence, and other HR‑related duties. The Coordinator may assist in organizing employee activities, coordinate staff development in‑service training, and remain compliant with applicable state, federal, and licensing requirements, as well as other duties as assigned. Website: Responsibilities Provides human resources support to the facility by assisting in all personnel issues within corporate policies and procedures and all federal and state guidelines. Prepares personnel files and maintains personnel records in accordance with facility and corporate personnel policies and guidelines. Audits personnel files, ensuring all information is current and accurate. Conducts employee benefit orientation, open enrollment meetings, and enrolls employees in health insurance and 401(k) when eligible. Coordinates with Corporate Human Resources and prepares requested reports for the Corporate Human Resources Office and HR Director as requested. Validates and updates licenses of all current employees through the appropriate licensing board and ensures their files are updated. Obtains appropriate paperwork for employee benefit authorizations, inputs all personnel information and all status changes for current employees, updates in HRIS, and informs payroll accordingly. Provides consultation and training to facility management regarding employee relations issues, counseling, and termination procedures as required. Monitors performance appraisal reminder system and mechanisms for processing salary transactions and record‑keeping. Qualifications Bachelors degree required 2 years prior related experience required 1 year prior administrative assistant / executive assistant experience required Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills Must be detail oriented and able to multi‑task and change direction quickly Requires advanced computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
