Desktop Support Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for a Contract position in Indianapolis, IN . Pay Range: $26to $28/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors We are seeking a Helpdesk Technician / IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to end users. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, or ticketing system Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity Perform password resets and account management (e.g., Active Directory) Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices Support Windows/macOS environments and common business applications Log, track, and resolve incidents using tools like ServiceNow or Jira Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when needed Maintain documentation for common issues and resolutions Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
