.**About the Opportunity**The Instructional Assistants’ roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Daily Classroom Support: Providing support to teachers in the classroom with 1-1support for students, distributing materials, behavioral support as needed and any additional support a teacher may need* Supporting weekly with field trips: Carrying out set roles and responsibilities as assigned by the Recreational Coordinator.* Lunchtime Support: Walking students over to Smith Hall for daily lunch, monitoring lunchroom behaviors, walking students back.* Support with Daily Sports- Actively participating in sports with students as assigned by the Recreation Coordinator; walk with students to and from the various facilities.* Attend Weekly Staff Meetings**Position Type**Temporary**Additional Information**Northeastern University considers factors such as candidate work experience, education and skills when extending an offer.Northeastern has a comprehensive benefits package for benefit eligible employees.
