• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures while explaining each phase with kindness and clarity
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, alerting management to any issues
• Thoroughly document and manage patient records within the electronic medical system

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
