Position Overview

Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you'll carry out diagnostic imaging procedures, work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals, and help alleviate patients' concerns with prompt and precise imaging results.

Responsibilities Include

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, explaining each phase with compassion and clarity
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee high-quality diagnostic images
• Handle and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within our electronic medical records system
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices

Educational Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
