Position Overview

Our team is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist who will play a critical role in our imaging department. Job Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures, ensuring to communicate each stage with clarity and kindness
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of exemplary diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound technology, promptly reporting any equipment issues
• Document all procedures accurately and maintain organized patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices to enhance patient care

Education Requirements

• A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field (Associate's or Bachelor's)
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
