Outside Sales Account Manager - Fluid Power Service & Repair

As a Hydraulic Service & Repair Account Manager , you'll develop new business, grow existing accounts, and provide value-added fluid power and repair solutions throughout Omaha, NE and surrounding areas . SunSource offers a broad portfolio of solutions, including hydraulic component repair, industrial electronic repair, machine upgrades and retrofit kits, hydraulic power units, filtration, lubrication, fluid conveyance, and custom-designed manifolds .

Essential Functions

• Drive Sales Growth: Develop new business, expand existing accounts, and achieve or exceed sales goals.
• Build Customer Relationships: Become a trusted technical resource by understanding customer needs and providing effective solutions.
• Manage Your Territory: Work autonomously to plan sales activities, identify opportunities, and grow your territory.
• Provide Technical Solutions: Recommend value-added products and services that improve customer operations and solve service and repair challenges.
• Deliver Exceptional Service: Leverage SunSource resources to provide responsive, solutions-focused customer support.
• Continually Learn: Stay current on products, technology, and industry solutions to better serve customers.

Experience, Education and Skills

• HS Diploma or GED
• Technical or Bachelors degree in related field is preferred
• Fluid Power certification is a plus
• 2+ years of sales experience , preferably in a mobile or industrial service and repair environment, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of agriculture, construction, or industrial manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Field technician or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with value-added sales and solution selling.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills .
• Entrepreneurial, competitive, and results-driven mindset.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn and use CRM tools
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the territory (overnight travel may be required)
• This role will routinely make on-site customer visits in industrial settings requiring the ability meet with customers at their locations and drive moderate to long distances.
• At times may be required to lift items weighing as much as 50lbs
