Monroeville, PA – Monday – Friday Daylight Schedule

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire (Permanent placement on company payroll with immediate full benefits; not a temporary job )

Location: Monroeville, PA 15146

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Standard daylight schedule; zero evenings, weekends, or holidays required!)

New Hire Starting Base Pay: $18.99 – $20.50 per hour (Placement on career ladder tier and starting pay based on experience, with clear advancement pathways as you build specialized clinical skills.)

Future Earning Potential: Established employees have the opportunity to earn progressive pay increases up to $28.11 per hour over time through performance, tenure, and continuous learning.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Education & Clinical Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must meet at least ONE of the following background criteria :
  • 1 year of direct healthcare experience, OR
  • 6 months of Nursing Assistant/CNA experience, OR
  • Enrollment in a PT/OT/PA/healthcare program with at least 1 clinical rotation completed, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Health Sciences field.

(EMT, Paramedic, OR Phlebotomy credentials required).

• Core Skills & Competencies: Proven proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture is required. Ability to perform basic nursing assistant tasks including vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, weights, I&O tracking, specimen collections, and ADLs.
• Advanced Clinical Capabilities: Ability to perform 12-lead EKGs, bladder scans, point-of-care testing, simple dressing changes, peripheral IV removal, and Foley catheter removal under RN direction.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Outpatient Phlebotomy & Specimen Collection: Perform routine venipunctures, capillary blood draws, and specialized laboratory specimen collections for outpatient and pre-admission testing patients.
• Pre-Admission Clinical Workups: Obtain baseline vital signs, perform 12-lead EKGs, conduct point-of-care lab testing, and complete pre-operative clinical workups prior to scheduled procedures.
• Patient Safety & Care Assistance: Support patient mobility, execute standard precautions, implement injury prevention protocols, and assist patients across procedural areas.
• Interdisciplinary Reporting & Documentation: Partner closely with registered nurses and pre-admission teams to report changes in patient status and record all clinical data accurately in the electronic health record.
• Department Operations & Support: Maintain clean exam/draw rooms, restock laboratory and clinical supplies, manage room turnarounds, and assist with clerical front-desk tasks as needed.
