New Home Consultant Guide homebuyers through the purchasing process from initial engagement to closing, utilizing proactive sales techniques and strong customer relationship management. Responsibilities Engage visitors, establish relationships, and assess home buying needs using Lennar's selling philosophy. Generate, process, and close home sales via self‑generated or referred leads, following the 10‑5‑2‑1 selling approach. Provide consistent follow‑through from initial contact to closing and post‑closing activities, maintaining accurate communication records. Maintain the condition of the Welcome Home Center, model homes, and inventory homes; communicate maintenance needs and ensure timely resolution. Travel within the local community to generate leads from Realtor/Co‑Broker businesses, referrals, and proactive self‑prospecting. Develop and maintain in‑depth knowledge of the competitive market, including product offerings, community details, sales trends, advertising strategies, and customer demographics. Monitor and record daily customer traffic using company‑designated tracking tools. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth transaction and exceptional customer satisfaction. Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive sales growth. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree and real estate license preferred. Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in new home sales, real estate, or a related field. Proven ability to build relationships and close sales. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales tracking tools. Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset and ability to work independently. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements Regular, in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites and offices during regular work hours is essential. May require >8 hours per day in confined quarters of a construction trailer, operating a motor vehicle, reading plans, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, moving or carrying equipment up to 50lb, occasional operation of construction equipment, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
