Automotive Assistant & Service Managers

Overview Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Asheville, NC area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. Responsibilities Assistant Manager Support the Store Manager to ensure the location operates efficiently, safely and effectively Enforce established policies, procedures and standards Schedule mechanics/technicians, manage outside orders, and ensure timely completion of jobs Meet customer expectations and maintain team member safety Service Manager Assist customers with tire selections and recommend necessary under-car repair services Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians Stage vehicle repair/maintenance work and drive sales initiatives Communicate with customers, assess needs, provide information on repairs and maintenance, and strive to meet customer expectations Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age Be legally authorized to work in the United States Possess (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties Employee Benefits Competitive weekly pay, weekly incentive compensation, health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid vacations and holidays, paid time off, life insurance, on-the-job training, and opportunities for career growth and advancement.
